Louisiana Sensation Dressing

Ingredients

3/4 cup lightly flavored oil like Canola

1/4 cup olive oil

1/2 cup Lemon juice

2 T. Vinegar

Bulb of garlic cloves (6-10 cloves), peeled

Fresh grated parmesan or Romano cheese

Salt and pepper

Description

Sensation salad is a favorite in southern Louisiana restaurants.

Directions

Make at least a day ahead of when you plan to use it for best flavor.

Put the oils, juice, garlic, vinegar, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper in a blender or food processor and blend until the garlic is completely broken down. Move to bowl and whisk in salt and pepper as needed.

Pour into a jar or squeeze bottle and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Shake well before using.

Typically served on a salad of romaine and iceberg with freshly grated cheese.
